SharryLand is a peaceful revolution. Just in June our great adventure officially begins, tells us the managing director Luigi Alberton. It has been at least a year and a half since the first seed of the idea was born and design work began.
So far we worked a lot behind the scenes, but this long time of “incubation” was necessary for me, Cristina and Paolo – the founders – in order to focus on the basic values and ethical principles.
LUIGI WHEN WE TALK ABOUT SHARRYLAND WHAT DO WE TALK ABOUT?
SharryLand is a web portal and a mobile App with national (and international) distribution, created to give value to the territory, favoring in particular the places of nature, history and culture outside traditional tourist destinations. The platform promotes the value of sharing and the common good; for this reason it makes available to all (even to non-members) the “map of all beauty that exists”, with the aim of spreading awareness and beauty.
LUIGI WE ARE CURIOUS FROM WHERE THE NAME “SHARRYLAND” COMES?
The name already contains the basic principles that characterize us: SharryLand is the sum of three words: Share “principle of sharing” + Cherry “cherry” which is our symbol + Land “the territory”.
WHAT ARE THE PILLARS THAT CHARACTERIZE YOUR PROJECT?
Our pillars are: the enhancement of the territory and its excellence, beauty, the common good, sharing, meritocracy, the “made to measure”. To this we add another one, fundamental: people.
IF I HAVE UNDERSTOOD CORRECTLY, THEN DOES SHARRYLAND ALWAYS PUT PEOPLE AT THE CENTER?
SharryLand is a social network and therefore it is obvious that people are at the center. We turn to those who seek and those who offer: everyone can be both “user and supplier“: there are those who seek inspiration for the next weekend and those who offer their own craft products; there are those who propose experiences and encounters and those who only have time to get together.
Above all, SharryLand wants to be a spur to get involved, for those with skills and knowledge that can be made available to others.
Luigi, before concluding this pleasant interview, I wanted to ask you to give a message to young people. I can say to the young people: “Take on the responsibilities of your dreams, roll up your sleeves, get together and build the best of all possible worlds. You can “.
